That’s not to say that women are incapable of completing SERE training or being able to meet the physical demands, but the German KSK (their special operations) decided to open up to women with relaxed physical standards and, as of yet, no women have been able to meet even the relaxed standards. read more
Late last year, the US military announced that all branches would be fully open to women for the first time including the Navy SEALS. I have been fortunate to spend some time in Coronado, CA where the SEALS train and became friendly with a SEAL who has since retired. read more
