Cliff Burton died in an accident during their tour in Sweden. The tourbus Metallica used to travel to their next gig slipped over a piece of ice on the road. Cliff was sleeping in the back of the bus and when the bus rolled over, Cliff got catapulted half out of the bus, through one of the windows. read more
