How did Naples achieve its impression of being dangerous?

We, too, had been warned about southern Italy being dangerous. Nothing could be further from the truth. We stayed in Naples (Vomero district, which is kind of the Beverly Hills of Naples) for 4 days and never felt unsafe there or anywhere else in Naples. read more
