The definition of outlaw is somebody who is outside the protection of the Law. He/She does not conform to the legal rules/regulations of the land. Robin Hood would be classed outlaw because he hunted the King's Deer(an offence in itself as ONLY the King and his nobility could kill the deer). read more

I read two different versions of how Robin Hood became an outlaw. My favorite was from Robin Hood and His Adventures by Paul Creswick, published in 1903. Creswick’s version of the story spent great detail on developing Robin’s character and the back-story of his life. read more
