To add to Haim Gurov 's answer - Papyrus and its closely despised neighbor Comic Sans are actually system fonts. When you want something that's not goofy (i.e. comic sans), or standard, there's only one option: Papyrus. This, I believe, is the culprit for its rampant overuse. read more
