My parents are atheist. We still celebrate Christmas, in the sense that we eat a nice dinner, have Christmas lights and a Christmas tree, and give each other presents. There's no religious aspect to it at all. read more
Yes we do. In a way, at least. Not because of the religious significance. But because it's a time to socialise and gorge on some excellent festival specific cuisine, if you happen to be a foodie. Just this past month was Durga Puja, a festive occasion for every Bengali. read more
