Once the dentist has a mold of the teeth, they can use some sort of liner (i'm partial to acryllic but you can do it w/ a polyvinyl siloxane too) to make the grill have an impression of the teeth on the inside so they kind of just pop on, just like a latex glove snaps over your hand. read more
