In my experience it is reverse. Majority of Hindus don't belong to any sampradaya and worship all Hindu gods. May be majority brahmins can be said to have traditional sampradaya but that can be doubtful in modern times with most smarta brahmins families adopting generic Hinduism with popular gurus etc than proper traditional smartism. read more
