By Italian parsley you mean Flat Leaved parsley (Petroselinum neapolitanum) and normal is curly (Petroselinum crispum) so they are different. Flat Leaved parsley has a stronger flavor, because there are much higher levels of essential oil (apiol)in the flat-leaved cultivars. read more
