Culturally, Jamaicans never resent Jamaican visitors coming in with more money. We want to see our own kind succeed and do great things, and come back with the money to contribute to our economy. Keep in mind also that many Jamaicans are White and wealthy, so separating “Jamaican Visitors” from “Rich White Visitors” is mildly offensive, since many of them are one and the same. read more
