A significant number and every single year. Don’t worry so much about a 3.8 GPA. The mean GPA of admitted students at Ivy League schools is never a 4.0 unweighted GPA. I would only be concerned about a GPA that is below 3.7, an A-, and even still, it doesn’t mean automatic rejection. read more

Best Answer: Well, no one, not even someone with a 2400 SAT, a 4.0 GPA in all honor/AP classes, and a sparkling resume of extracurriculars can safely say that they will get into HYPS. Their admissions are really unpredictable. read more
