There is very little weather in Fairbanks. I live there for almost 13 years do not recall any storm (high winds, huge snowfall or very heavy rain with flooding,etc.). read more

We just deal with it. Fairbanks, Alaska is in the arctic so we simply prepare for arctic living. It’s an adventure. We make sure that we don’t stay outside without the proper protection of warm clothes to protect against frostbite. We plug in out vehicles to warm the vehicle parts that need warming when it’s below zero so our vehicles will run. read more
