How do Shia Muslims view Saladin?

Saladin hated Shia's I believe. From my understanding the Sultan of Syria sent Saladin and his army to go aid the sultan of Egypt. Egypt was a shia state. After the sultan of Egypt died, Saladin took over Egypt and turned it into a sunni state and became sultan of Egypt. He later spread Sunnism all over the Middle East.
