How do UCLA students compare to Berkeley students?

I agree with a lot of what Mahnoor Wasi says. UCB and the Bay in general have a culture of hardcore work. From Berkeley to startups, many people are super ambitious and seeking power in one form or another; this requires a lot of work. read more

Berkeley students and UCLA students are almost of the same caliber. However, I do think UCLA students are a lot more social than Berkley students, but also think it is becuase of LA’s environment. read more

UCLA is a great school, but I know some people at Berkeley with a 3.0 GPA who got into medical schools. I do not think anyone at UCLA with a 3.0 GPA got accepted to medical schools since they may have a clout. At Harvard Medical School, there is only 50 applicants who can go. At Berkeley, two students got accepted to Harvard every year. read more
