How do wolves react to thunderstorms?

I've both read and heard that wolves treat dogs like puppies all their life. Sort of like a 2nd class citizen. They're aware that full-blooded dogs are very different, and half-bred dog-wolves are mixed and don't get the same respect as full-blooded pack members.
