All you need to see your Apple Pencil's charge is the Batteries widget Apple included with iOS 9. It displays in the pull-down Widgets and Notifications view on your iPad Pro. If you don't see the Batteries widget, that means you need to enable it. read more
You can also charge it with a USB Power Adapter by using the Apple Pencil Charging Adapter that came with your Apple Pencil. Apple Pencil will fast charge when plugged into either power source. To see how much charge your Apple Pencil has left, check the Widgets view on your iPad. read more
