In order to be classified as a “serial killer” you’d have to kill three people with about a month in between those murders. I guess the difference is a homicidal maniac doesn’t usually kill people, they just like to read or watch things about homicides, but a serial killer will murder. read more

Homicidal maniacs are just killers who kill for the sake of killing. There may be some planning that goes into it, but they won't discriminate when it comes to their victims. They'll just kill whoever gets in their way and have no regard for their own safety either. read more
