Greenland are an autonomous region and administer a lot of things on their own. Furthermore Greenland only have a population of 56.370 (2013) so there are not many people living there. And while greenland is big 3/4 is covered by the only permanent ice sheet outside of Antarctica. And to be honest I think ice pretty much take care of itself. read more
