Anaconda Anaconda gives you a Python distribution and a package manager. The good things about Anaconda is that it supports both Python 2 & 3, which Canopy right now does not. Canopy Canopy is also Python distribution, and also comes with an editor. read more

Anaconda and Jupyter notebook now supports a lot of packages, so it is now my default scripting program. I last tried Enthought Canopy in Jan 2015. It works fine on my office computer, but it is very laggy on my personal macbook. read more
