It feels stressful a lot of times to be perfectly honest. The days I work, I don't get anything else done. I don't even feel like going out to eat. With my second, it hasn't hurt at all, he nurses like a champ, and I'm much more comfortable. Breastfeeding is a huge commitment and a lot of work goes into making sure you have enough milk for baby. But it is satisfying to sustain your baby from your own body, and it feels normal after a while. read more

With our fingers, mostly. If you're in a college atmosphere it's probably a great way to pick up chicks. It's not awkward unless you make it that way. You have to walk into the room and tell patients "I'm your nurse" with a gentle edge of finality. Most women actually treat me like I'm a doctor. read more
