Because Nelson Mandela was sick for a long time, his death was not a major shock in South Africa and worldwide. He was very frail and often hospitalised, especially after 2010 FIFA Worldcup. Maybe the biggest loss after his death is that South Africa as a country has lost it's moral compass. The leaders don't care and abuse their power. read more
