I know Brazil has deep racism but I just think it maybe deals with certain racial issues better than the US. The US probably does better with dealing with institutional racism by implementing laws dealing with discrimination whereas Brazil does better with day to day interactions between the races. read more

It's true - but the correlation is much stronger with income and social class than with race, which points to a real and equally dangerous problem, that is a very restricted social movement environment. read more
