Every animal that dies at SeaWorld first undergoes a necropsy. In many cases parts of or all of the skeletons are kept or donated for educational displays. No part of the bodies are fed to other animals as this would risk spreading disease, creating antibiotic resistant bacteria or poisoning if the dead animal was euthanized. read more
