How fake are Pentatonix?

Far from fake, Pentatonix is one of the best and deservingly most famous pop Acapella groups in the business. Sure, some of their recordings did contain a bit of AutoTune or pitch correction as well as a lot of EQ there, but that is the sign of the times nowadays - AutoTune, even a little, can be heard even in albums and recordings of even the best pop singers out there such as Ed Sheeran or Michael Buble. read more

They won that contest, which is done with no backup tracks or autotune allowed. I have heard them live with no mics at all. They are the real deal, do not use autotune or backup tracks in their live performances, and most certainly are not fake. read more
