The buses operate from 5:30AM - 5:30PM and theres a bus every 20 minutes or so. Spend the day at Machu Picchu. Since you have to fly back to Lima on Day 3 I would suggest planning to take the latest train back to Ollantaytambo after visiting Machu PIcchu on Day 2. read more
