Alexander is the greatest general in history. Napoleon, Hannibal, Caesar were all great set piece generals who had the ability to win battles. Alexander utilized propaganda (wayyyy ahead of his time), new technology (used in new ways), invented new formations, and used his battlefield successes to accomplish his strategic goals. read more
