Basketball fans- Georgetown’s basketball team might not as good as those of some huge state schools, but the fact that Georgetown, Duke, and Stanford (all non-Ivies, by the way) are the only genuinely top notch schools with halfway decent basketball teams means that a lot of people who only know of colleges through basketball are probably more likely to have heard of these three than most of the Ivies. read more
