Verizon's coverage in Alaska will mirror the existence of major roads as VZW has kept cost outlay to a minimum there. If your residence and employment and fun times are going to be near major roads, you may find coverage adequate, but you'll need contract services with VZW, not prepaid. read more

Verizon roams on the ACS network in Alaska and is working to establish their own network. You should have coverage in Seward/Anchorage/Denali but don't expect coverage between these areas. I don't know about Juneau but ACS has a presence in Juneau so I would assume the same applies there. read more
