Difficulty compare to other engineering discipline depends on the school. Once you're actually a chemical engineer, the stuff you do is much easier than the stuff you learned. Mostly process designs, research, and mass and energy balances. read more
In chemical engineering and my experience was not like this. I went to the university of Toledo and had a really good experience. Don't get me wrong, it is a very difficult program but the department professors were all really helpful and they had a lot of good peer mentoring programs. read more
