I would say VA Tech is easy to get into, but hard to graduate from, exceptionally so if you are pursuing engineering for the career prospects and potential it offers rather then an intrinsic love for logical problem solving. read more

It is very difficult to get into the school of engineering at Virginia Tech. You are expected to have mostly A’s in every class that matters, stellar SAT scores, and extracurricular activities. It is extremely competitive, especially if you’re from the state of Virginia. read more
