The helmet on the first guy is probably modeled on the so called visored barbute which is in fact a historical fake. The sword seems rather oversized compared to historical examples. read more

Individual pieces of armour are shown in a vaguely real manner, but by and large it is pastiche, and not historically accurate in any way. From the banner up top, I see our Viking pal is wearing leather armor, which is historically inaccurate, they would have been wearing chain or padded cloth (I fully expect to see a bare chested "berserker" class as well, which is actually more accurate than leather). read more
