How is Cozumel, Mexico during Christmas?

Some restaurants have special Christmas dinners and New Years Eve dinners. As I remember from years past, the big grocery stores (Chedraui and Mega) that normally open early and close late may have shorter hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. You will find plenty open--and the things that do close will likely only close on Christmas eve late--that is when Mexican families celebrate Christmas. They know they are in the tourist business and since cruise ships will be in Christmas day, you will find most things open. read more
