Sixth Grade: History of the World and Ukraine in particular.This course is especially schizophrenic as it as it integrates both Ukrainian and World history from the beginning of humanity till the fall of Rome. The history of World War II to the contemporary world is also studied. In high school, students are required to take a year of American History, a year of World History, a semester of government and a semester of economics. Almost all of the history I do remember in school was based around Tudors, Edwardians, Victorians, and the two World Wars. It’s not taught here in Northern Ireland. We are taught about the history of potatoes and the Cold War. read more
