The career progression at kpmg starts at associate. The next step is then senior associate. After senior associate you move up to manager. Then you get promoted to senior manager. After senior manager, you move up to managing director and then partner. read more

Kpmg's career progression is slower than the other big 4 accounting firms so you can expect to spend at least 3 years at each position. The kpmg career progression is also different in that you have to become a managing director before you become partner in many of their practices. read more

Well, I can't give / don't know details going a long way up the chain, but generally the first big jump comes after 3 years, at which point most training contracts at the Big 4 (studying under the ICAEW or ICAS) will finish and you'll (hopefully!) become qualified. Assuming exam passes, that progression is likely to be pretty much automatc. read more
