You’d have to start young to get a good foundation in. I’d say if you wanted to tap professionally, the oldest age you could start at is probably twelve. But okay okay, I’m rambling- if it’s just as a hobby, I’d say it could take anywhere from six months to two years. read more

I'm actively taking jazz and hip-hop classes and for me, getting"good" is similar; I can see it will take a couple years to get into the upper 20% of my classes. As my overall dancing improves, they all get easier and work together. read more
