Some studios can produce 2 minutes of animation in a much shorter time frame. The guys down at South Park produce a full 22 minute episode in six days, from concept to writing, voice acting, storyboards, animatic, animating, editing and final cut. read more

If you meant that kind of "animators" (every person needed to make a movie), then the number would be from 300 to 500 people per movie. In cheaper productions you could have 150-200 people, with 15-25 animators. read more
