How long does the abortion pill take?

The second pill, Misoprostol, is taken 24 to 48 hours after the first pill, Mifepristone, is taken. Approximately half will experience the heavy cramping and bleeding necessary to expel the embryo, uterus lining, and embryonic sac within the first five hours. read more
