There are actually three floors on the Eiffel Tower. The first floor is directly above the four “legs” and has a shop and a glass floor from which you can look down to the ground. The second floor, about half-way up the tower, has a shop, the exclusive Jules Verne restaurant, some lookout points and queues for the elevator to the top. read more
Since the opening of the Eiffel Tower for the Universal Exhibition of 1889, visitors have been able to visit the different floors of the monument via elevators. A formidable technical feat for the period as never before had engineers tackled such constraints of height and elevator loads. read more
