Earnings, which should be the driver of rise in stock prices is out of sync with current market prices. Unless global liquidity conditions see a dramatic change, the hope based rally is bound to fickle out. That might be a healthy correction or end of the bull run which depends on several other factors. read more

The current trailing 10-year annual return for the index is only 7.6 percent. At previous major bull market peaks, this 10-year annual pace has routinely been above 15 percent. There aren't many worrisome stresses in the capital markets at the moment. read more
