How many days should a traveler allocate to Athens, Greece?

It depends on your likes and dislikes. I was born in Athens and lived there for a long time, but now live in the US. When I host friends in Greece, we spent 3 days in Athens tops, and then we are out, either mainland or islands. read more

Venice, Rome, Florence, Athens do need at least 2 full days each to appreciate things. And, it will be already rushed. For Santorini it will be a bit late, it will already be cool if weather is not cooperative. read more
