In four years living in East Africa, I saw a lot of parks, and I think the ideal setup would be to choose 2-3 lodges and spend 2 days at each. While it's incredible, especially the first time, most find the early morning wakeups (drives go out at 5 AM and 5 PM in most places) and the constant, jarring motion of the vehicles to be tough to handle for too long. read more
