I disagree with the standard “none” answer that people, such as Ashley Leckrone, give these days on the internet regarding fishbowls. Guppies do in fact make for great bowl-fish. read more

So, in a reasonably planted 5 gallon tank with a good filter, you can comfortably keep 5 adult guppies WITHOUT fry or 2-3 adults WITH fry; in a 10 gallon, you can keep 10 adult fish and no fry or 5 adults with fry. read more
