The Rafale has 14 hardpoints (13 for naval version), 5 of which are suitable to heavy weapons or drop tanks. I believe only 12 are actually available for most weapon uses though. read more
The Meteor is not operational yet, so I don’t know if the Rafale can carry 10 of them, but seems somewhat plausible if you don’t mind carrying around $20M worth of missiles. 10x meteors is only about 5,000 lbs. read more
Alternatively, the Meteor can be fired without using mid-course update, hampering its chances to find a target, but allowing the Rafale to immediately turn away (similar to "Fire and forget" AASM, MICA or Exocet missile types). read more
Then again, if MBDA can react swiftly enough to changing capabilities, the Meteor could be upgraded and reconfigured to stay at the forefront of air-to-air missile technology, albeit this proposition takes a steady stream of cash to realize. read more
