Speed is applied to drawing when drawing details. If it doesn't have that much detail then you would probably want to draw it quickly. Where as if its small details you would probably want to go slower so it could look neat. read more
And do not ask myself what does it mean, except if i only think of what it means. But in 99% of the cases physicists just try to build a cartoon world of the quantum system and apply the rules of quantum physics.
