How often are EMTs called for panic attacks?

I will start off with I never get annoyed by these kinds of calls because anxiety can come at anytime and for no reason what so ever. Patients experiencing this need help and it is my job to help them. I am never annoyed by a legitimate medical emergency. read more

Overcoming past calls is one of those skills that nobody teaches you in EMT school. Exorcising the demons that build as the days and weeks of an EMS career build is imperative.
