First of all, pancreatic cancer isn't just painful at the end. For many people, pain and nausea are the first symptoms. I would assume the pain, like cancer pain in any other organ, is because something is growing there where it doesn't belong. The pancreas isn't a large organ like the liver, lung or colon. read more
