To add sound to animated text or an object, do the following: On the Animations tab, in the Advanced Animation group, click Animation Pane. The Animation Pane opens on the side of the workspace pane, showing the order, type, and duration of animation effects applied to text or objects on a slide. read more

Click “Add Animation” to add extra animations to an object. Select an animation effect from the dropdown. If you attempt to add an animation without first clicking “Add Animation” it will replace the existing animation instead of adding to it.
