The sled rides well on packed trails and roads, but does not handle any significant amounts of snow (greater than 2 inches). The next version will involve wheels in addition to skis and will have a ski base the same width as a snowmobile's to make riding in sled tracks a no-brainer. read more

INDIVIDUAL DOG SLED PARTS BACK BRACE. Select a piece of knot free wood and cut it to measure 22 in. x 1 1/2 in. x 1 1/2 in. Cut tenons that measure 1 1/2 in. long and 5/8 in. x 5/8 in. on each end of the crosspiece. Drill a 1/2 in. hole on each end of the back brace, centered, as shown in the drawing. read more
