How to delete friends on words with friends?

I can delete the app from the account settings but when I search "words with friends" it just reloads the same app with the same problem of all it says is "loading friends" but nothing loads. I want to totally remove it and then reinstall it, just not recall it. read more

To remove an opponent from the Words with Friends leader board: Click the leader board to display all the opponents. Click the icon or image of the opponent you want to remove to display their profile. Click the menu on the top right that looks like three dots when using an iPhone.
