I just checked out your drum module and it has a USB port for recording direct to a thumb drive or show up as an another input to select in garage band.. little cables and adapters will only get you the worst sound quality possible.. read more

Record the drums from the DM5 straight into the Fostex as a guide track and also record the midi tracks, from the DM5 midi output, to the mac to suitable software. Then when I mix down, play back the midi tracks through the DM5 to the fostex replacing the guide tracks on the Fostex. read more
